Background: Once a powerful sorcerer-king of the Tenebrians, Nerath, the last male Ruler of the Tenebrians, was overthrown by Kilana's ancient progenitor and imprisoned in a dark realm by his own kind for his insatiable thirst for power. During his imprisonment, he became a Lich, mastering the dark arts of necromancy and forbidden magic, and communing with dark, ancient, forgotten deities. Now he has returned to reclaim his throne and bring darkness to all of Mythralis.
