The Dark Legion
In the heart of Mythralis, the memory of the first cataclysm had become legend, a tale of power and transformation that had rewritten the rules of reality itself. However, the apparent calm was destined to be shattered by a second cataclysm, an even more devastating event that would shake the foundations of the world.
The Wizards of Eldoria, seeking to restore their lost power, performed a new dark ritual. This time, the accumulated magical energy was even more dangerous than that of Drak'Zar, fueled by the ambitions and desperation of a kingdom now in decline and suffering heavy losses. As the ritual culminated, a massive explosion of black energy rippled across Mythralis, opening a dimensional rift between the world of the living and a forgotten dark realm.
From the fracture emerged an ancient shadow a Tenebrian long imprisoned, reshaped by centuries into something unholy. Flesh had rotted away, replaced by charred bone and necrotic fire; his eyes were extinguished lamps, glowing only with eternal hatred. Thus was born the Lich, master of undeath and the forbidden arts, the embodiment of mankind’s failure and ruin’s triumph.
And he was not alone. With him marched five champions, torn from different races and dimensions, twisted by corruption into faithful monstrosities. Each was a living blasphemy, bearer of a unique darkness, a herald of the downfall awaiting every corner of Mythralis.
Thus began the Invasion of the Dark Legion not as a war, but as a pestilence: inevitable, creeping, and absolute. There were no borders left to defend, no prayers left to whisper. There was only the shadow, swelling, consuming all that still dared to breathe
Nerath, the Forgotten
A towering skeletal figure, shrouded in a cloak of pulsating shadows. His eyes burn with a sinister, malevolent light, and his bones are engraved with arcane runes that glow with baleful energy. A crown of tynebria adorns his skull, a symbol of his ancient royalty.
Morgath, the Damned
A spectral knight, his body clad in blackened armor covered in cursed runes. He rides a spectral steed, itself a living shadow. His flaming sword emits a black fire that consumes souls.
Karnak, the Bestial
A cross between an orc and a demon. This monsterous creature's massive body is covered in black fur and scales, with sharp claws and fangs protruding from his mouth. His blood-red eyes gleam with primal ferocity.
Syra, the Shadow Witch
Wrapped in a mantle of living darkness, her pale face emerging from the gloom like a specter. Her eyes are bottomless pits of pure darkness. Her hair, like shadowy serpents, moves of its own accord. She carries a twisted dark scepter inlaid with black gems.
Vargul, the Undead Gladiator
An imposing undead warrior, his body a mosaic of bone and rusted metal. He wears an ancient gladiator’s armor, covered in spikes and encrusted with dried blood. He wields a massive double-bladed axe that radiates an aura of terror.
Zalara, the Void Enchantress
An ethereal floating figure, shrouded in translucent veils that shimmer with void energy. Her face is hidden behind a silver mask, and strands of dark energy flow from her hands.
